APEX (Access.Professionals.Excellence.) is aimed at engaging young and new members and providing a forum for emerging leaders of SAIA

APEX Mission

To enhance the core membership of the Scaffolding & Access Industry Association (SAIA) by promoting, involving and encouraging young members, new members and emerging leaders of the SAIA and access industry through networking, education, training and mentoring.

Objectives

  • To recruit young associates of existing SAIA member companies to engage in the work and success of the SAIA
  • Develop the SAIA mentoring program in an effort to familiarize young and new members with the SAIA’s mission, council work, membership and volunteer leadership opportunities
  • To diversify and expand the member demographic of the SAIA
  • To provide a forum for young and new members to collaborate with existing members to gain knowledge of the intricacies of the access industry
  • To prepare the next generation of SAIA volunteer leaders

Matt is the Director of Business Development at Mdm Scaffolding and the youngest member to be elected to the Executive Committee of the SAIA Board.
Inspired by the leaders and visionaries who helped pave the way for him when he entered the industry at a young age, Matt recognizes the importance of this new initiative and its benefit to the future growth of the Association.

Sean is a Sales Manager at KC Scaffold and has been around scaffolding his entire life. His father, a 3rd generation SAIA member, has been involved with SAIA for 38 years.
With his vast years of scaffolding experience, Sean looks forward to being a resource for members trying to navigate the ins and outs of the SAIA.

Committee Week Debut

APEX will make its debut at Committee Week in Galveston Feb. 12-15 starting with a welcome mixer Sunday afternoon from 4-5 p.m. followed by a more formal meeting Monday afternoon from 12-1 p.m. Matt, Sean and other veteran SAIA members will be available to explain the group's objectives and goals and answer any questions. If you are interested in learning more about APEX or joining, Committee Week is an excellent opportunity to do so.
