The mission of the Scaffold & Access Industry Association Industrial Council is to be a resource and advocate for positive and safe change in the growing industrial market as it relates to the unique needs for temporary work platforms of all types in this market.
- Provide awareness of safety issues unique to the industrial market and provide leadership for addressing those issues for continuous improvement.
- Make association members aware of new and changing regulations from various government agencies as they relate to equipment, safe practices and proper use.
- Aid in developing certain standards for the industrial market with the intent that these standards will be adopted by the association, ANSI and OSHA where appropriate.
