Erectors/Dismantlers: Erectors and dismantlers are workers whose principal activity involves assembling and disassembling scaffolding before other work can commence, and after that work, or a portion of it, has been completed.

 

OSHA requires employers to provide training by a Competent Person: OSHA1926.451(f)(7)   to each employee who is involved in erecting and/or disassembling a scaffold. A Competent Person is defined as one who:

  • Is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards, and
  • Has authorization to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them
  •

Scaffold Training, Frame Scaffolds

For Employees, Supervisors and Foreman who erects and/or oversee scaffold erection and use.

 

This course covers all the safety aspects regarding scaffolding components, foundation requirements, regulations, fall protection systems, access methods, erection & dismantling techniques.  Emphasis is placed on having a hands-on experience.

Class Room and Practical Training

 

When: April 3rd, 2014   Time: 9:00 am- 4:00 pm

      

Where: American Ladders & Scaffolds, Inc.

Cost: $350.00 + tax per person (Payable to American Ladders)

 

Required for class: Work boots, hardhat, work gloves, safety glasses.
