SAIA Headquarters – Kansas City, Mo.
8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Oversights on your part can lead to accidents. Suspended work platforms demand know-how and attention to be used safely. Join instructor, Harold Gidish, in this one-day training program as he explains how to set up, operate, and inspect suspended work platforms. The person completing this course will know the basics required to use suspended equipment safely. On-the-job training after this program will allow participants to apply the knowledge that they have gained and apply it to field experience necessary for any professional.
This is an 8-hour course that includes the “Safety Training for Suspended Scaffolds” training manual and self-test questions for each chapter. Upon successful completion of the course, and passing of the final competency exam, students will receive a certificate and OSHA-required competent person safety training wallet identification card.
NOTE: If your current Suspended Scaffold Competent Person Certification is older than three years, it has expired. You can recertify at this course.
