Operations & Inventory Manager

OPERATIONS AND INVENTORY MANAGER

 

Lynn Ladder and Scaffolding is a rental company and retail distributor of ladders, scaffold

and other construction related products. Service and quality are paramount as we stride to

provide each of our customers with the high-quality products they deserve at a reasonable

price and in a timely fashion. Our employees comprise our most valuable asset. Our office

is located in Capitol Heights, Maryland and we are the leading scaffolding company in the

DC metro area.

 

Experienced Operations and Inventory Control Manager needed.

 

Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):

 

• Oversee shipping and receiving functions

• Plan and organize daily activities related to branch operations

• Inventory control – including cycles, equipment inspections, managing stock levels

and end of year Physical Inventory.

• Property management (building, yard, equipment and vehicles)

• Manage all warehouse employees and drivers

• Ensure a health and safe workplace for our staff and customers

• Maintain a clean, well-organized warehouse and yard

• Support all functions of the branch to work together

• Ensure customer service levels are held above standards

 

Required Skills / Abilities:

 

• Minimum of two years scaffold experience

• Excellent leadership, managerial and supervisory skills

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Experience in Operations Management, Inventory Management, or similar role

• Ability to delegate responsibilities

• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization from warehouse workers

and drivers to upper levels of management.
