Technical Sales Representative

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a strong technical background. This position may be based out of Detroit, Columbus, Cleveland, or Pittsburgh.

Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and analyze customer needs
- Consulting with clients to develop access solutions for their projects
- Preparing and present estimates/proposals for clients
- Collaborate with the sales team on pre-sales activities
- Manage sales projects from initiation to closure
- Manage sales pipeline
- Reviewing project scope and schedule with operations for execution to ensure client’s expectations are met or exceeded
- Liaising with installers, engineers, trades and construction personnel to ensure safety, timeliness and quality are maintained as per customer expectations
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process

Requirements Experience/Qualifications Required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical sales role within the construction industry/ sales and rental industry
- College or University degree
- Knowledge of sales techniques
- Professional sales training
- Proven experience in sales and project management
- Ability to hit and exceed sales targes consistently
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Knowledge of MS Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc), and CRM software
- Proven success in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong time management skills with ability to handle high volume of activity
- Resourceful, take initiative and problem-solving skills
