Outside Sales Representative
STVA Scaffolding Inc.
is actively seeking an ambitious, driven, persuasive and experienced Outside Sales Representative for our Cypress, Texas headquarters. The ideal candidate will have a proven sales track record, proficient computer skills, enthusiastic personality and the ability to learn and grow with a team.
Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities
Develops new prospects and enhances relationships with current customers to increase sales of current and new products. Understands customers true needs to address their challenges, create solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process. Work with the marketing department to provide source material for marketing strategies and promotions. Travel as needed to customer sites, conferences, trade shows and represent STVA in a professional and ethical manner.
Participate in collaborate sales environment, be persuasive and work hard to achieve sales goals. Demonstrate confidence, resilience, and ability to negotiate and problem-solve with innovative solutions to customers’ individual needs. Stay calm under pressure and work to build trust & respect. Create and define value for customers by understanding their business model through research from their website, industry knowledge, and active listening.
Enhance sales performance by acquiring product and industry knowledge on a continuous basis and building capability as a professional phone salesperson. Provide point of sale materials to customers via web and email. Negotiate pricing programs with new clients to gain consistent revenue flow while maintaining the expected margin.
Analyze market trends, opportunities, threats and work with Division Manager to develop strategic business objectives to achieve company sales goals. Prepare accurate quotes, coordinate sales activity, and provide clear customer expectation to the operations team. Must be able to work independently and effectively, think creatively and be willing to suggest new ideas or products.

Proven track record of outside and phone sales experience.
Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, detail-oriented, organized, task-oriented.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Office 365 (Outlook, Planner, Teams) Pipedrive CRM a plus.
Associates degree in Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is occasionally exposed to moving
mechanical parts. The employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions. Encounters
such as dangerous, slippery, uneven walking surfaces, scaffolding, steps. Frequently travel by car to customer’s offices and sites, including overnight stays.
