Outside Sales Representative/Estimator
Job Purpose
Seek out new opportunities within territories well as developing and maintaining strong current customer relationships.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop existing accounts and seek new business via cold calling or other strategic selling solutions
- Analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, and develop strong business relationships. Consult and problem solve to enhance the Company's position in existing and target accounts.
- Manage scaffolding projects from start to finish.
- Analyze the customer's needs, determine the appropriate equipment to meet those needs, then estimate the appropriate amount of equipment and the labor required to erect and dismantle the scaffold.

Requirements |
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates Degree or prior sales experience;
- 5 years' construction related experience;
- Prior outside sales experience and/or customer service experience;
- Strong project management, new business development and customer retention skills a must;
- Ability to read architectural plans;
- Proficiency in use of computer programs including: Word, Excel, Outlook;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
- A valid in-state driver's license with a good driving record;
- Authorization to work in the US with the ability to obtain clearance onto Federal job sites.
- Preferential consideration will be given to candidates with:
- Previous experience in scaffold erection or sales;
- Completion of the OSHA 30 course for construction.
- College Degree or Equivalent.
- Construction or Industrial Background.
Physical Requirements
- Must be capable of climbing scaffolding, ladders, etc. to take measurements of typical job site conditions.
- Occasional lifting and carrying of equipment up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods of time in all types of field conditions.
- The position requires staying calm under pressure when communicating with clients and co-workers. Avoid intimidating tone or abusive or inappropriate language.
