Sales Executive
EIW Scaffolding is strategically located in Toronto, Canada and services the scaffolding markets in North America. Our Total System Scaffolding, accessories and shoring equipment is second to none. We have been manufacturing and selling our ring lock style scaffolding in the North American market for over 40 years. Our products and support services add value to all our customer’s access needs including custom products for the scaffolding and special events industries. Long time members of the SAIA in the US and the AAC in Canada, we are well known in the industry for our commitment to quality and safety.
We are looking for a sales executive that will focus on the US market promoting our well established brand in the industrial and commercial sectors with scaffold E&D and industrial coatings companies. You must be energetic, results driven, and have full confidence in working in a small team as well as independently. Utilizing our vast customer base to grow business as well as researching the industry using the internet including social media to reach new potential clients you will be expected to enhance the current EIW team.
We are seeking hunters who love to sell our solutions and find new business, but who also have a passion for providing top level account management and customer service.
Sales Executive Job Responsibilities:
- Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers.
- Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type customer and industry they are doing business in.
- Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
- Process orders by referring to price lists, product literature and the companies ERP systems.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, existing and new products.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional associations.
- Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
This is a remote position with flexible daily schedules that can be worked out with the hiring manager that fits with the needs of the individual as well as EIW and it’s customers.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- College or University degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred.
- Scaffold industry experience.
- Three to five years of industry sales experience a plus.
- Familiarity with office software, basic computer skills and phone systems.
